Termite repellant

10/23/2009 08:44

Here is a suggestion to everyone concerned about termite damage to wood.

The old adage:

Q: What kind of wood is not prone to termites?

A: None.

Every type of wood is prone to termites, unless you decide to use vinyl or composite, which could be very costly,so if your looking to budget and still want to use a particular wood for exterior, incl: Pine/Redwood/Cedar/Mahogany/Spruce/Hemfir,etc....a termite repellant needs to be applied to wood to extend the life of it.

I currently use Greens clear coat termite/water repellant
